The Labour Party
The Labour Party is a social democratic political party in the United Kingdom that sits on the centre-left of the political spectrum. In a broader sense, the party has been described as an alliance of social democrats, democratic socialists and trade unionists.
The brief: I was tasked with leading the design and management of The Labour Party’s high-profile Business Conference at The Oval. The event, hosted by key figures such as Keir Starmer, Angela Rayner, Rachel Reeves, Jonathan Reynolds, and Peter Kyle, aimed to position The Labour Party as the party for business and growth. The goal was to enhance the party’s appeal to the business community and demonstrate its commitment to economic leadership.
My solution:
I was responsible for developing the entire visual identity of the event, including the design of way-finding systems, large-format visuals, stage setups, brochures, digital assets, and branded giveaways. Working closely with Labour’s internal business team and external event organizers, I ensured all design elements were cohesive and aligned with the party's messaging on growth and business engagement. The result was an impactful, engaging, and memorable experience, with overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees and the media, effectively reinforcing the party’s narrative of economic leadership.
