The brief: Designs for Earth day for social media on Instagram's grid and stories and on Twitter to highlight our work . The theme for this year’s Earth Day is “Invest In Our Planet” #InvestInOurPlanet #Earthday2022
This is a perfect opportunity to showcase TBI’s net zero work and how we are investing in technology and renewable energy to tackle climate change.
-
How we can achieve net zero: at TBI, we can help governments achieve this transition and navigate/limit the challenges posed by climate change (its impact).
-
Investing in our planet: We equip leaders with progressive and practical policy solutions. We turn commitments into action.
-
Role of technology: TBI’s expert team brings together specialists from climate policy, technology, innovation and international development.
-
Net zero is going to happen – the scale and pace of the climate crisis, and the growing commitment from around the world, make that an inevitability.
My solution:
With the socials, I wanted to celebrate earth and the work we are doing at TBI towards sustainability and reaching the net zero emissions goal. I looked at Nasa images of earth from above and wanted to theme all the carousels around a circle taken from interesting viewpoints. To increase engagement we need to ask the audience questions such as 'what does earth day mean to them?'. I also created simple animations to keep the audiences attention on one of the screens.
